The telematics platform SPACE Tracker is based on the SPACE technology from nobisCum. SPACE is a geographical information system (GIS) that allows an individual and effective use of GIS technology. The core of the SPACE technology consists of an Oracle database with spatial extension for processing geographic data and NAVTEQ MapTP, a map applet for visualization and analysis of geographic information in map format.

The separation between front end and back end enables a versatile use of the sophisticated SPACE-server technology. SPACE Tracker can be used as a standalone web system with or without external connection, or as a pure back-end system with interfaces to existing systems.
